News from the Italian Embassy in Montevideo

During the visit carried out by the Delegation of the Board of Directors of EFASCE-Pordenone in Uruguay, President Gino Gregoris was received at the Embassy where he was welcomed by Ambassador Giovanni Iannuzzi and by the Head of the Consular Chancellery, Alessandra Crugnola.

In the fruitful meeting, an assessment was made of the state and activities of the Friulian community gathered under the umbrella of EFASCE-Uruguay chaired by Claudia Girardo and the possible synergies to be implemented were considered. Collaborations that could be extended to the other Italian Associations in Uruguay were also evaluated with interest and openness.

Among the numerous qualifying meetings in Montevideo of the Friulian delegation, which included Vice President Luisa Forte and the Councilor for South America Diego Comuzzi, the one with the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Silvia Merli.
